Christopher D. Myers President & Chief Executive Officer
Christopher D. Myers joined the Company as President and Chief Executive Officer of CVB Financial Corp. and Citizens Business Bank on August 1, 2006. For the prior two years, Mr. Myers served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Mellon First Business Bank, where he spent a total of ten years in various assignments. He began his banking career with First Interstate Bank in 1984 where he completed extensive commercial loan training and progressed through their management ranks. Mr. Myers also spent six years with Sanwa Bank California (now ‘Bank of the West’) as a Vice President and Commercial Banking Center Manager. He presently serves on the board of directors for the California Bankers Association.
Mr. Myers received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Harvard University in 1984 and a Master of Business Administration in Finance and Marketing from the University of California at Los Angeles in 1991.
James F. Dowd Executive Vice President , Chief Credit Officer
James F. Dowd began his banking career with Crocker Bank in 1976 and managed several offices with a focus on middle-market business banking. In 1984, Jim was hired by Union Bank of California as Senior Loan Officer and Commercial Loan Department Manager. In 1991, he joined City National Bank as a Credit Administrator where he held various senior-level credit management positions including Senior Vice President and Manager of the Special Assets and Asset-Based Lending Departments, Deputy Chief Credit Officer, and Interim Chief Credit Officer. Most recently he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer for Mellon 1st Business Bank. Mr. Dowd received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from the University of California at Davis and his Masters of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Washington. He is also a graduate of Pacific Coast Banking School.
David C. Harvey Executive Vice President and Chief Operations Officer
David Harvey joined the bank in December of 2009 as a seasoned bank operations professional with experience in all aspects of Commercial Loan Servicing and documentation, Foreign Exchange, Payment Operations and Treasury Services.
He began his banking career in 1990 with First Nationwide Bank in Sacramento He managed the development of cash management services including ACH and Lockbox with a focus on middle-market business banking. In 2000 Dave was hired by Bank of the West as Vice President and Operations Manager. He progressed through management and was promoted to Executive Vice President and Commercial and Treasury Services Manager in 2008. Mr. Harvey received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and Accounting from California State University at Sacramento. He is also a graduate of Pacific Coast Banking School. He is a Certified Treasury Professional member of Association for Financial Professionals and serves on the WesPay Board of Directors.
David A. Brager Executive Vice President, Sales Division
David Brager joined the Bank in 2003. He was recently promoted to Executive Vice President of the Sales Division. Prior to his promotion, he served as Senior Vice President and Regional Manager of the Central Valley Region after serving as Manager of the Fresno Business Financial Center. Mr. Brager’s professional career incorporates over twenty-two years of banking experience with extensive background in management, commercial lending, business planning, sales and operations. Mr. Brager graduated from Pacific Coast Banking School (PCBS), which is in partnership with the University of Washington Graduate School of Business. He also received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from California State University in Fresno, California.
Yamynn has been with Citizens Business Bank for 24 years. Her career with the Bank has been in various administrative positions overseeing the operations of business financial centers and operational/sales support areas. She was promoted to her current position of Chief Risk Officer of the Risk Management Division in 2008, overseeing Compliance and Audit functions of the Bank Mrs. DeAngelis received her Bachelor’s Degree from Rangoon Arts and Science University in Burma.
Elsa I. Zavala Executive Vice President, Chief Information Officer
Elsa Zavala joined the Bank in July 1993. She has over 25 years of experience in information systems, operations and technology. Mrs. Zavala’s professional career began with General Bank, where she served in various capacities from 1980 through 1993. Her assignment as Director of Information Services has included management of computer operations, networks and backroom operations. Elsa is a graduate of the Institution Commercial Ingles, Monterrey, Mexico. In 1998, she received an undergraduate Banking School degree from BAI Banking School, Madison, Wisconsin. Her other accomplishments include Computer Forensic Specialist, ITIL Certification and ABA – Compliance Management from University of Oklahoma. Elsa was recently promoted to Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer, Information Technology Division.
Larry Zivelonghi Executive Vice President Dairy & Livestock Industries Group
Larry Zivelonghi has been in banking for 32 years and with Citizens Business Bank for over 16 years. Larry began his banking career with First Interstate Bank in 1980 which led him to "centralized agricultural credit" at Crocker National Bank in 1983. Larry also has Ag. Credit experience with Crocker National Bank, Wells Fargo Bank and Security Pacific Bank and, as a result of mergers, with Bank of America and Sanwa. Larry started Citizens Business Bank’s Dairy & Livestock Industries Group in April of 1993. He was recently promoted to Executive Vice President. His dairy background began as part of a dairy family. He received his Bachelors of Science Degree in Agribusiness for California State University at Fresno.
Ted Dondanville joined the Bank in September of 1998. He was the original Manager of the Bank’s Glendale Business Financial Center. In July of 2003, Ted was promoted to Senior Vice President and Manager of the Burbank Business Financial Center. He was promoted to Regional Manager of the San Gabriel Valley market area and currently manages the Bank’s five Commercial Banking Centers. Ted has 26 years of banking, administration, credit, sales and marketing experience. He began his banking career with Security Pacific Bank. He joined One Central Bank as First Vice President in the Business and Professional Division. Ted received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Loyola Marymount University. He received his Certificate of Advanced Banking from the Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington.
David M. Krebs Senior Vice President Director of Human Resources
David M. Krebs joined the Bank in 2003 as Director of Human Resources. Mr. Krebs has worked in the human resource environment for nearly 28 years. Prior to joining the Bank he was with Wedbush, Morgan Securities, Fremont General Corporation, First Interstate Bank of California, The Allied-Signal Corporation and Shell Oil. Most recently Mr. Krebs has assumed responsibility for Bank Properties. He received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from California State University at Long Beach.
James E. Mead Senior Vice President and Regional Manager
James E. Mead joined the Company in 1993 and has managed our Arcadia, Pasadena and Chino Business Financial Centers. He was promoted to Regional Manager of the Inland Empire Region in March 2004. Mr. Mead’s professional career includes over 34 years of bank management and business lending experience. Prior to joining Citizens, he served in various capacities with Farmers and Merchants Bank of Long Beach and Community Bank. He received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona
Michael B. Mulcahy Senior Vice President and Regional Manager
joined Citizens Business Bank in November 2007 as Senior Vice President & Regional Manager responsible for the business financial centers located in the South Bay, including Manhattan Beach, Gardena and El Segundo. Most recently his region was expanded to include locations in the San Gabriel Valley. Mike’s professional career incorporates over twenty five years of banking and investment experience, sales, marketing and business development. His banking experience includes Senior Leadership Positions with Washington Mutual, Security Pacific Bank and Wells Fargo Bank. Mike received his Bachelors of Business Administration from the University of Tennessee and attended the Graduate School of Credit and Financial Management at Stanford University.
John H. Tait Senior Vice President/Regional Manager
John H. Tait joined the Company in 2001 as Senior Vice President and Regional Manager. Mr. Tait has over 40 years of banking experience, including 13 years with American National Bank. He served as President and Chief Executive Officer with Community First Bank and held various executive positions with ValliWide Bank and WestAmerica Bank, all in California’s Central Valley. He is a graduate of Pacific Coast Banking School at University of Washington and the National School of Commercial Lending at the University of Oklahoma.
Mark C. Richardson Senior Vice President, Real Estate Banking Group
Mark Richardson joined Citizens Business Bank in July 2002 through the acquisition of Western Security Bank. He was with Western Security Bank for nine years and was responsible for managing their SBA Department. Mark was also employed by the United States Small Business Administration in their Los Angeles District Office. Since joining Citizens he became the Manager of the Glendale Business Financial Center in July 2003. In October 2005, Mark became Senior Vice President and Manager of the Pasadena Center. He was promoted to Senior Vice President & Regional Manager responsible for the ten business financial centers located in the San Gabriel Valley. Mr. Richardson is currently managing the newly formed Real Estate Banking Group. Mark is a graduate of the University of California at Los Angeles with Bachelor degrees in Mathematics and Economics. He obtained his Masters of Business Administration from Pepperdine University.
Richard C. Thomas Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Thomas’ professional career incorporates over thirty- three years of financial audit and accounting experience primarily serving the financial services industry. Mr. Thomas was an audit partner in the Los Angeles office of Deloitte & Touche, LLP for 22 years leading teams in auditing financial statements and internal controls certifications, accounting, regulatory compliance, system and cost reduction strategies, public filings including registration statements and mergers and acquisitions. Prior to his appointment with CVB Financial Corp. and Citizens Business Bank, Mr. Thomas was Chief Risk Officer with a Southern California community bank, where he was responsible for internal control documentation and testing, internal audit, regulatory compliance, credit review, policy and procedure reviews and advising and consulting with other members of senior management and the board of directors.
Mr. Thomas received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Western Illinois University in Macomb, Illinois.
Mr. Thomas is a member of American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, California Society of Certified Public Accountants, and Iowa Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Richard H. Wohl Executive Vice President, General Counsel
Richard H. Wohl joined the Company in October, 2011 as Executive Vice President and General Counsel of CVB Financial Corporation and Citizens Business Bank. During the past fifteen years, he has served in a variety of senior legal and business roles in banking and finance, including with a large federal savings and loan association and a leading NYSE real estate investment trust. In the earlier stages of his career, he served as a law clerk to the Hon. Dorothy Nelson of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, held the positions of Acting Assistant Legal Adviser and Attorney Adviser for East Asia and the Pacific at the U.S. Department of State, and worked as an attorney in the Institutional Lending Group at the law firm of Morrison & Foerster. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in History (with distinction) from Stanford University and his Juris Doctor Degree (with honors) from Harvard Law School, where he was an editor of the Law Review. He is a member of the bar in the States of California and New York, and is also a Certified Mortgage Banker
R. Daniel Banis Executive Vice President and Head of CitizensTrust
R. Daniel Banis ,Executive Vice President and Head of CitizensTrust. Mr. Banis brings over 30 years of financial services industry experience to this role.
He began his banking career with Security Pacific National Bank in 1979, where he rose to the position of First Vice President and Regional Director for the Northwest Region. In 1992, he joined Bank of America with a focus in private banking and was promoted to Vice President and Director of their Trust Client Services Division. He left Bank of America in 1995 to join Fidelity Investments, where he rose to the position of National Sales Manager of the Portfolio Advisory Services Division in 2001. From 2002 to 2009, Dan was the President of First American Trust in Santa Ana, where assets under management and administration doubled under his leadership. Mr. Banis joins CitizensTrust from MullinTBG, A Prudential Financial Company, where he served as Executive Vice President of Sales and Strategy, leading their sales, marketing, relationship management, investment advisory and analytical service groups.
Dan earned his B.S. in Business Administration with an emphasis in finance in 1974 and his M.B.A. in 1984 from California State University at Los Angeles. Dan has also participated in executive education and certification programs at Southwest School of Banking at Southern Methodist University, Harvard Business School and the Securities Industry Institute at The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Hector G. Gutierrez joined Citizens Business in January, 2011. Mr. Gutierrez’ professional career includes nearly thirty years of banking lending and management experience. Prior to joining Citizens Business Bank, he served in various capabilities over twenty-two years at Community Bank including senior-level positions as Senior Vice President and Credit Administrator and as Vice President and Business Center Manager. Mr. Gutierrez began his banking career at First Trust Bank in 1983 where he worked in its Corporate Banking Group as a senior Commercial Banking Officer. He received a Bachelor of Science in Finance, Real Estate and Law from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, California and a Juris Doctor with honors from Southwestern University School of Law, Los Angeles, California. Mr. Gutierrez is also licensed by the California State Bar to practice law as an Attorney in California.
Timothy B. Noone Senior Vice President and Manager, Specialty Banking Group
Timothy B. Noone is Senior Vice President and Manager of the Bank’s Specialty Banking Group. The Specialty Banking Group provides customized banking products to industries that are users of deposit and cash management services. Mr. Noone’s professional career incorporates over twenty-five years of experience in the banking industry, with a background in credit administration, bank operations, treasury services, sales, and business development. Prior to his appointment with Citizens Business Bank, Mr. Noone was the manager of the Specialty Deposits Group for Mellon 1st Business Bank.
Mr. Noone received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the Kelly School of Business at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. Mr. Noone is a member of the following industry organizations: American Land Title Association, California Land Title Association, Federation of Exchange Accommodators, California Escrow Association, American Escrow Association, Los Angeles Escrow Association, Building Owners and Managers Association.

Ronald O. Kruse Chairman
Mr. Kruse is an active member of the California business and agricultural community as Chairman of his family businesses, Kruse Investment Co., Inc. and Feed Commodities, LLC.
As a founding member of the Board of Directors, he has provided 30 years of prudent and practical guidance in the development of our growth initiatives. His service as Vice Chairman of the Board has been invaluable to our success.
D. Linn Wiley Vice Chairman
Linn Wiley has served as President and Chief Executive Officer for Citizens Business Bank and CVB Financial Corp. and as a member of the Board of Directors since 1991. Mr. Wiley brings over 40 years of bank management to the organization. He serves as a liaison between the Bank’s Senior Leadership and the Board of Directors.
Our aggressive goals and superior performance year over year is motivated by his leadership and guidance. He has been a key influence in our continued success and growth.
Robert M. Jacoby
Robert M. Jacoby. is a Certified Public Accountant and current chair of the Audit Committee. Bob has served on the Board of Directors since 2005. Mr. Jacoby has operated his own accounting practice since 1992 and was with the accounting firm of Grant Thornton for 21 years where he specialized in banking, manufacturing and distribution. Mr. Jacoby was the engagement partner for CVB Financial Corp. from 1981 to 1987. Mr. Jacoby’s financial
and accounting expertise, his years of experience as a bank director, and his long history with and deep knowledge of CVB Financial Corp.’s and Citizens Business Bank’s financial and business affairs makes him a valuable asset to the management of the Bank.

San E. Vaccaro
Mr. Vaccaro joined the Board of Directors in 1999 as part of the acquisition of Orange National Bank, where he served as Chairman of the Board. His firm, Law Offices of San Vaccaro, has been active part of the Orange County legal community for many years. Mr. Vaccaro has been admitted to the Supreme Court Bar.
His background and experience in the Orange County business community provide CVB Financial Corp. and the Bank with advice and direction as we implement our Orange County growth initiatives.
Raymond Vincent O’Brien III
Raymond Vincent O’Brien, III, was appointed a Director of CVB Financial Corp. on Wednesday, September 19, 2012. He was also named a Director of Citizens Business Bank, the wholly owned banking subsidiary of CVB Financial Corp.
Mr. O’Brien has an extensive background in both manufacturing and banking. Ray began his professional career in banking in 1979 with Chase Manhattan Bank and moved to First Business Bank in 1983. In 1987, he left the banking profession and became CEO and owner of I.L. Walker, a Los Angeles-based manufacturing company. Over the next two plus decades, Mr. O’Brien owned and led several manufacturing companies. He is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Cal Plate, based in Artesia, CA. Ray was a founding director of American Business Bank in 1997 and served as a director until 2012. Mr. O’Brien earned his BBA in Finance from the University of Notre Dame in 1979.
Stephen A. Del Guercio
Stephen A. Del Guercio was appointed a Director of CVB Financial Corp. effective October 30, 2012. He was also named a Director of Citizens Business Bank. Citizens Business Bank is the wholly owned banking subsidiary of CVB Financial Corp. Mr. Del Guercio is presently a Partner with Demetriou, Del Guercio, Springer & Francis, LLP. He was admitted to the California Bar in 1986. He received his A.B from the University of Southern California, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 1983, and his J.D from the University of Southern California Law School, graduating Order of the Coif, in 1986.
Mr. Del Guercio is currently serving as Mayor of the City of La Cañada-Flintridge. He has been a member of City Council since 2001. He is also involved with various community and charitable organizations in the greater Pasadena and Los Angeles areas.
George A. Borba Jr.
George A. Borba, Jr. was appointed a Director of CVB Financial Corp. effective November 14, 2012. He was also named a Director of Citizens Business Bank. Citizens Business Bank is the wholly owned banking subsidiary of CVB Financial Corp. Mr. Borba became a partner in George Borba and Son Dairy in 1990. He is currently President and CFO of Bellanave Dairy Corp. and Partner and CFO of West Kern Dairy, both in Bakersfield. On a combined basis, these two dairies represent one of the larger operations in California with over 10,000 milking cows. George also manages 7,000 acres of irrigated, agricultural farmland.
Mr. Borba earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agricultural Business Management with a concentration in Finance from the California Polytechnic University in San Luis Obispo. He has served on the Board of the San Bernardino Zone 1 Flood Control and the Western United Dairymen. George is also active in the Bakersfield community serving as a board member of St. Francis Catholic Church Finance Council and as a past board member of St. Faustinas Maternity Home.
